Why “Fart Camp”? Art Class Fart Class. F(elt) ART. F(emale) ARTIST. F(ibers) ART. I don’t know I thought it was funny. Farts are a universal joke. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are or whether you speak the same language- a fart is always funny. I’m planning to host online classes and feature other artists in the future so “camp” just made sense.

Hey! I’m Lacy Nance and this here site is a place for my art to live. My mission is to make you laugh so even if you don’t purchase anything please laugh at me because I’m funny. I’m an art teacher, I’ve taught people from ages 3-85 of various backgrounds and abilities. The core of my lesson plans and artwork is humor, play, and fun. I don’t take myself or my work too seriously and neither should you!

My artwork is primarily made up of felt/embroidery, but I do occasionally dabble in painting, printmaking, and ceramics. Needle felting is the process of stabbing wool with a barbed needle over and over until it binds together and makes a felted object. Great for anger issues and getting out aggression! I hope you enjoy my work and if you don’t enjoy it I hope you can at least have a laugh with me, come on.
